We have Einhell. Only the grass trimmer struggles on the wildflower meadow. Otherwise, it does what it is supposed to do.

don't you have a cordless screwdriver, rotary hammer, etc.? Most of these manufacturers also offer garden tools... or are you looking for a separate system for garden tools? As for 18 or 20 or more volts, you CANNOT conclude that more volts means longer battery life per charge, possibly more maximum power (but I also doubt that).

I switched to Makita. One battery for all tools and garden equipment. They usually come in different price ranges as well. They have, for example, the cheapest lawnmowers (I think - otherwise it's the second cheapest ;)). It's fine for the few square meters.

But I think Einhell, for example, works too, unless you have very high demands. I have the wet vacuum cleaner from them and can't complain.

Sort of, I have an Uneo, which would be Bosch. But the cheapest trimmer from Bosch is quite a bit more expensive than the mid-range one from Einhell. And since I only have one cordless device from Bosch so far, I don’t know if I want to continue with that brand if all their devices are generally more expensive. Or rather, I would do that if they are correspondingly better. If there’s not much difference, I would switch to a cheaper provider. Usually, with them, both devices and batteries are cheaper. I don’t know if that’s still the case today, but batteries do sometimes fail and you have to buy new ones.

I had a lot from Bosch and have now almost completely switched to Metabo. Besides the general quality, the advantage lies especially in the fact that you can equip all devices with the 18V battery, including the 36V lawnmower, brush cutter, etc. (2 battery slots), whereas Bosch has its own 36V batteries for that. Especially Bosch’s garden tools did not convince me at all. Metabo is available in free trade well below the RRP of the manufacturer’s website. And 2-3 times a year there are promotions where you get a free battery with the device.

However, with tools it is simply the case that there are different quality and price levels. If Einhell is the set target price for you, then you will not get anything of higher quality for a comparable price. This may not apply to all devices, but what I have seen so far from Einhell was often enough in the category of junk.

Well, we have had Einhell for 5 years now and nothing is broken yet. Neither the first battery nor the lawn mower as the initial device. For cheap stuff, it holds up quite well. If I were a professional using it every day, a higher quality brand would certainly not be a mistake. For me as an amateur, whose devices spend more time standing around than working, a more affordable category is sufficient.
