Purely in terms of quality, Bosch Professional and Stihl would be the best choice, but with Makita you have everything you need in one battery system... If I didn't already have everything from Bosch, I would definitely switch to Makita because of the battery advantages.

Thank you. Yes, you are certainly right about Bosch blue. I also have the rotary hammer from... with my house having many concrete walls, that was very important. But the cordless screwdriver will be used about 5 times a year by me, then Makita quality and the battery system will be the deciding factor. Best regards, Rainer

Unfortunately, Bosch has nothing in the 18v or 12v Professional range for the garden. The garden tools are either all Green or already in the new 36v segment.

I have pretty much everything from the Bosch Green 18-Volt family. And I consider the price-performance ratio to be very good. All devices do their job without complaint - the first ones have probably been in my possession since around 2012. However, I don't know if there is a lawn mower for it. And yes - they don't have the feel of the Makita devices. But also not the price. The latter is so good, not least because the batteries are often included for free in various promotions. So, of about 10 batteries, I probably paid for only 3.

and unaffordable That’s why garden -> Stihl, tools Bosch

Makita is of course completely sufficient for that

a green Bosch cordless screwdriver costs just as much in the hardware store as a blue one or a Makita. And there the quality is indeed different. That may be true for other devices.

Makita is on par with Bosch blue. Check out mydealz, you can set a keyword alert for Makita, there are always devices available at bargain prices as SOLO (meaning without case, battery, and charger - but eventually you have enough chargers and batteries...).
