As I said, I am just an amateur and have no idea what is stated in the execution of the WU guideline. I only had the topic with us as well, so I can only say how it was done with us and what the planners/contractors said about it. How far does the foam go into the component? That is simply visible with an element wall. It is hollow when it arrives. You can also see that in the picture. You just have to look inside from above to see whether foam is pushing through inward or not. I haven’t reread everything, but I am of the opinion that the OP did not say that it is an execution according to WU-basement, white tank, or anything else (which are terms often mixed up). With us, vertical joint sheets were worked into the butt joints. I was told that this is done in the "white tank" method to achieve tightness. Whether the additional foaming of the butt joints was the belt to the suspenders, I do not know.
