Basement and Ytong - does it work?!

We are currently faced with the choice of using an aerated concrete block or a Poroton T10 for our house.
Part of the basement will also be underground for us.
I do want to start a new thread, but which block would you choose purely based on the background of this thread?
By the way, the Poroton is about €3000 more expensive...

Personally, I would build the basement only out of concrete. Simply because of the better feeling. However, it is certainly also a question of price. Concrete was by far the most expensive item for us (prefabricated element walls+reinforcement+concrete).

Actually, I am only concerned with the decision between the two mentioned stones. Other structures are not even up for discussion. It is not a basement but a living floor that is partially below ground level.

Then the part lying on the ground is made of concrete. It forgives the occasional mistake. The company is out after 5 years. However, damage usually only occurs after 10 years...

Always embedded in concrete without exception. Any house built differently will sooner or later encounter problems, usually after just a few years. I have personally had to experience this three times and would like to help others avoid it.

As said, is not up for debate
