Well, you can try to have that included in the contract. But the municipality will not lay the cable themselves, so you have to make the reservation that the provider actually lays it in the end.

If they then say "no way," then there simply won't be any cable. Then the whole contract is pointless, because in my opinion there is no meaningful "compensation" if there is no cable, as there is no alternative solution, I would say.

Good day,

Mhmpf - why didn’t you clarify your questions _before_ you applied for the property?

If the seller does not state it in the notary contract on her own accord: no one. The municipality does not lay the cable, but probably Teledoof does; and how the latter proceeds, heaven knows.

Every couple’s situation is different, ergo must be considered individually. Ask a notary you trust; if applicable, the one who also draws up the notary contracts for the municipality.

It is not low, it is mostly sufficient.

Not at all. But you can inquire at the municipality in advance about which regulations will presumably be included in the development plan and then hope…

Worth a try – more than a "no" can hardly come out of it.

You will hardly have read and understood that by the notary appointment. Ask someone who knows about it. This also has the advantage that questions arising in conversation can be answered immediately ;)

Rhenish greetings

Our community has advertised a repayment of 12 euros per m2 when children arrive, even 5 years after the purchase.

We have included this in the notary contract. If there is nothing, it does not matter.
No livelihood depends on it.

Isn't cable internet sufficient as an alternative? In our region, that is already available with 150mbit.

Or Skytron internet via satellite 100mbit down and 10 up for 34 euros.

Hi TomTom,

Cable internet isn’t available everywhere. Here, they backed out: After initial sky-high prices, they simply said they won’t do it at all, way too expensive, let’s just forget it.

Telekom: You have to be lucky to get VDSL100.....we were unexpectedly lucky.....completely unexpected.

Fiber optic is really the method of choice and the OP seems to need high bandwidth, so > 100 Mbit/s, reliably.

With the new initiative from the [BR], some communities are expanding on their own with the help of subsidies.....let’s see what happens for the OP.

Best regards
Thorsten
