So, I took a look at the policy, it now makes little sense to post 33 pages here that only list the additional benefits (compared to the standard policy). But here are a few examples: Items stored at the residence but outside the insured apartment (e.g., rental storage) are also covered. Bicycle also outside the property as long as it is locked. Wall boxes on own property (privately used). Waiver of the defense of gross negligence. Damage to household contents following an accident with a means of transport. Merchandise and sample collections. Household contents of a caregiver and au pair. Technical, optical, or acoustic security systems. Removal of wasp, hornet, and bee nests. Additional costs due to price increases. Additional costs due to technological progress. Psychological support after burglary, robbery, fire. Emergency child care. Damage to household contents caused by wild animals. Costs for tap water and gas due to pipe breakage. Return travel expenses in case of cancellation of a holiday or business trip. False alarm caused by smoke detectors. Guarding costs. Professionally related second residence (commuter apartment). All professionally used items in dedicated workrooms. Financial losses due to skimming (cyber protection). Data recovery costs (cyber protection). Etc.

Your benefits seem very familiar to me, I can confirm the same for my policy as well, without having the details on hand right now.

No wonder, I also have the "Excellent" tariff

Then the price difference must be due to:

vs 126xx.

And possibly the insured sum? What do you have there? I have 100.8 K EUR (determined by formula vs. underinsurance).

A little more than half… 65K. Also via automatic determination. I hope we made a good choice with the company. ;) Last year I did a new check, the same tariff had become a bit cheaper with more benefits. Wallbox for example, was not included before. So I switched directly through the check and saved.

So I didn't have to provide an amount. Only address, building data, and equipment. But it's about residential building insurance, right?!
