Private home, which insurances do we need?

So if a few euros don’t hurt you, I can recommend ARAG. They also have a lot of good insurances on offer. Processing is quick and uncomplicated. Just compare. Otherwise, I always take the insurance from Checkx4, which has the best price/performance ratio with grades of 1,x.

I selected building insurance with elemental coverage at check and settings Stiftung Warentest very good.

Are the prices at check correct?
Are they cheaper for individual inquiries?

Name the one with the cheapest price to get a feel for where it starts.. because you only mentioned those you know. For example, there is (as I have) domcura, which is backed by an acquaintance, but is offered cheaper because of that. Or you go to a broker, they sometimes have access to tariffs that are not available on a portal or other options to work with discounts. But maybe you have ticked something everywhere that only unnecessarily increases the cost. Do the comparison without [Elementar]. Maybe that is the "problem" because your address is in a high-risk zone. If I deselect [Elementar] for myself, I would come to around 130-150€/year.

Check yourself with your ZIP code at the bund der versicherten, homepage under "Gruppenversicherungsangebot". This is, be aware, a consumer protection organization and a registered association. For the group insurances, they select providers with good, reviewed conditions. For the organizational effort, you pay an additional IIRC 8 euros per year on top.
