But that’s how it is. I was basically able to read that as well. Because the joints also become smaller and the more precise work takes more time, but 23 euros more per sqm seems like a lot to me. I have otherwise read something about around 10 euros.

yes, unfortunately an extra charge within the scope

removing the trade will probably not be worthwhile.

have you asked him to do it out of turn?

Yes, I agree. That is within the acceptable range.
That is why our basement is not tiled in 120x30 and 120x20 but just normally in 60x30.
If you are already paying for the extra effort, then consider whether you want to mix 20 and 30 tiles like we did. It loosens up the wood look and was a suggestion from the boss.

Yes, I would have liked that too, but unfortunately the tiler could only offer the one tile in the matching color tone.

Since we already knew this would be more expensive, we had already taken the kitchen and bathrooms out; we originally wanted to tile those in wood look as well. For the tiles we selected for the kitchen and bathrooms, we thought there would be no extra cost. No one told us about the rectified edges at the showroom, and we didn't pay attention to that during the selection. These are standard both in size and price.

So once again, so no one gets confused:

30 x 60 tiles in size and price are actually standard but have rectified edges.

Extra cost 23 euros for installation.

20 x 120 wood-look tiles are neither standard in format nor price.
In addition to the material extra costs,

Extra cost just for installation is 35 euros (which is actually double the normal installation costs; the normal price is 38 euros).

Well, we will probably choose other tiles now to stay just under 10,000.

Cut the 120x20 into 60x20, then you stay within the format without extra costs!

The additional cost is OK. Better to cut the €2000 elsewhere because if those are the desired tiles, you will benefit from this investment for a long time. Doors, on the other hand, can be replaced later. Discounts can also be easily made on the outdoor area, and the same applies to furniture. See where you can save if the €2000 otherwise hurts.
