Hey,
somehow I'm not really making progress right now. I'm looking for an elegant solution to shield the terrace on the south side a bit from the adjoining street. On the one hand as a windbreak, and on the other hand as privacy from passersby.
Since there is a distance between the south side of the terrace and the southern property boundary ranging from 4.5m (small terrace) to 6m (large terrace), I can hardly imagine having "two things" standing there. On the one hand, a 1.8m high privacy screen directly on the south side of the terrace and, going around the corner or at the property boundary, a fence or a hedge. The space in between would then feel like some sort of enclosed room or corridor to me. If the space were larger/wider, I believe these two things wouldn't interfere with each other.
The neighbor to the west has a 1.8m-2m high fence with privacy screens.
Possibly plant large hedge plants up to the "bend/offset" of the curb on the south...
I'm really a bit at a loss here.
Thanks for your feedback!
