I have to be honest: the more the fence looks like money or costs money, the less I like enduring it.

If the fence doesn’t need to be opaque, a chestnut stake fence is a nice and affordable option, which is also easy to build yourself (unless you have soil class 7).

Fence is really such a thing. We would like a privacy screen. But they are so damn expensive. Currently, we have Portuguese cherry laurel. Unfortunately, we lack the time and desire to trim dozens of meters twice a year. Wire mesh fence is affordable but so boring... Really tricky topic for us.
