There is a saying, don’t know who originally (Ustinov?)
"When you are old and look back on your life and regret decisions, then let it be because of something you did, not because of something you didn’t do." Or something like that.
Yes, that could fit Ustinov. He could have said it pretty much word for word like that, "confused" (confused in the sense that, as a multilingual person, he also thought in multiple languages, mixing German, Russian and other grammar).
I exclude existing property for two reasons. 1. We have been researching possible ownership for a while (about 2 years). There is nothing around here that wouldn’t need to be completely gutted apart from the exterior walls.
Existing properties have to be actively bought and one should not judge the market by what is just thrown in there. But this probably needs a lot of explanation, I have to work on that. It seems I should make a special existing building version of my Barthel tips. Thanks for the suggestion
only here in the forum there have always been dreamers of house building who think that if they just calculate everything nicely now, it will work out.
The dreamers are of course not the main reason why I usually avoid the financing threads here widely – the other is my impression that the punches fly particularly low in this section, compared to which my esteemed insults of architects seem like gentle breezes
