Yes, that is the big unknown here. We pay €33,000, but that's only 570 sqm.

Here it would be a maximum of 220m² in the wider surrounding area. In our town, only 125.

hi. we also just built, but in Austria. however, we decided on a prefabricated house because it is fast. the house itself was ready to move into in less than six weeks after being erected. we don’t have a basement because the benefit and the cost were not clear to me. a fully finished basement would have cost about 50,000 euros extra. my thought was that for less than half that amount I would build a carport with appropriate rooms for storing stuff that would have gone into the basement. we have now spent 280,000 euros for the plot (767 sqm), house (120 sqm), earthworks, foundation slab, turnkey, cistern for rainwater. another reason in favor of the house. if we had built solidly, we would have had to choose every tile, every door, the floor coverings. visit many hardware stores, etc. so we just went once to the manufacturer’s central office, chose bricks, gutters, windows, floor, bathroom, kitchen, simply everything, and were done in 3 hours. regards

If we had built with solid construction, then we would have had to choose every tile, every door, the floor coverings. Going around many hardware stores, etc. That is quite a strange statement, and it is also wrong. Many (I would even say most) solid house construction companies also have a sampling center! Here too, you can choose all the components in one place. Even if the house was planned by an architect, you can find such a company that does everything, keyword general contractor.

we are building solidly and can do our selections in a selection center where everything is on display. That has nothing to do with a prefabricated house or a solid house.

Best regards

: Sorry, but all three points are simply wrong. A prefabricated house is neither faster overall, cheaper, nor are there only sampling centers available there.
