News from Köln-Rondorf:
Take a look at the Kölnische Rundschau and the Kölner Stadtanzeiger for Rondorf Neubaugebiet. Apparently, things are progressing and the first groundbreaking for the new residential area Rondorf-Nordwest is expected in 2019. Five years later, it would presumably be finished.
And interesting for us interested builders:
It says that the whole thing will probably be developed within the framework of the "kooperatives Baulandmodell". That means the investor buys the plots and later sells them to private developers. Sounds good. A private developer is not someone who buys standard houses from another developer. It is supposed to be the same project developer as in Widdersdorf-Süd. And there, numerous architect-designed houses were also purchased independently. You have to have courage... even if it will be a long time before you can build (actually already too late at almost 40 years old, if it starts in 2019... but what can you do...)
