Phew, little things…

Is that enough for what? For you, for you and your husband? Or for the 1.5 children?
On Fatzebook there is the group Traumhaft Wohnen: every day the same question is asked with a picture accompaniment “how do I get some order into the hallway?” The pictures look like you should be looking for a new house,

Yes, I also see the difficulty of moving the east window on the ground floor.

Yes, cozy is a good description for this entrance situation.

But these are small things. The first thing I would do is make sure everything is mirrored so that the garage does not block the valuable west sun.

If the staircase to the attic is omitted, it can be optimally relocated for the upper floor. I am very surprised that your planner does not suggest this. The previous location was only optimal because of this. If the reason no longer applies, it is much better located, for example, on the eaves side.

We do not want to reflect the house despite the west sun, but we really thought about it for a long time. I cannot imagine the staircase on the eaves side right now, or how access to all rooms would then be guaranteed. Is the cloakroom really that much too small? We each have 2-3 jackets for every season and currently have to manage with much less space. We thought about installing doors in front of the almost floor-to-ceiling niche and additionally placing a shoe cabinet under the stairs.

Here, they like to calculate with 10 jackets and 1 linear meter per person for the wardrobe. Don’t worry about it.

Well, for example like this: Really? Have you looked at your bathroom? I find the toilet behind the door very unusual. The door, in my opinion, even swings completely the wrong way. If you reverse it, the toilet is placed even worse. So it's a botch. Yes, absurd! Offering something like that in a new build is a joke! Please don't let anyone push that on you and NO! it's not cozy but ridiculous.

Thank you for the feedback and for the example pictures! I understand the criticism of the children's room access very well. Because we were skeptical about the bathroom, we had it planned and are actually satisfied. Do you think the toilet is poorly placed because of the appearance?
