Hi, I think the idea is very good. Of course, because of the walls, you will still have to move quite a bit. But the basic idea is recognizable and I like it. Except for the thing with the entrance area. I don’t like it when you essentially stand in the living room right after the front door. But that’s a matter of taste. Maybe you could add a vestibule. The living room is huge and will get even bigger with the shifting. That won’t be cheap for sure. I’d be interested to know if you still like it then. ;) I also find the children’s rooms in the north a bit dull. They’re nice rooms but always gloomy. Can’t you just mirror the whole thing (along an imagined vertical line)? Then they would be wonderfully bright and sunny in the south. Ideal for playing.

I do not agree that the living room will be huge. If you first imagine appropriate walls there and see that the living room practically also includes the hallway to the private rooms, so an area that cannot be furnished at all, then it will have quite normal dimensions ;)

mmh, yes maybe you are right. It is just a question of where everything will shift to. The bedroom also still has to get bigger...

Meal time,

I have now mirrored the house to use the south side for the rooms. I also tried to take some of your tips into account. The result is really much better than before, I think at least. More floor space, larger dressing room and bedroom, and there is less "dead" space. I'm actually quite satisfied. Let's see what the architect says about my/our ideas tomorrow :P
