Washing machine is planned in the storage room next to the kitchen. On the wall to the living room, there is also about 2.8 m of room-high kitchen cabinets planned for laundry, cleaning agents, supplies, and kitchen utensils not used daily.
Since the earthworks and basic pipelines are already completed, no major replanning is possible. Some minor changes are from last week. I will get the drawing later.
A brief note on the construction method: It will be like the previous house, again a timber frame construction on a "Swedish slab" with underfloor heating. The wall structure is a 24 cm stud frame with 6 cm wood fiber insulation on the outside and a ventilated facade made of HPL panels. Inside, 18 mm OSB, 6 cm installation layer, 18 mm OSB, and 12 mm gypsum plasterboard. Windows are of course triple-glazed with 80mm + X profile. Heating will probably be with a pellet boiler with condensing technology on a 1500-liter buffer tank with domestic hot water preparation. Additionally, a thermal solar system. We will see if I dimension it so that a Bafa subsidy is possible with two residential units (at least 50% solar coverage). The garage will also be heated with underfloor heating and is also a timber frame construction with 20 cm stud frame and insulation.
