I always recommend using the Christmas days as a reference: The entire (vaccinated) family is visiting, ALL the lights are on, the goose has been in the oven for five hours, and the next day you need 200 km of range in the car. Oh, and of course it rains nonstop. Christmas, after all. ;-)

Oh man, I have started a discussion there. I will remember not to invite the family so that the photovoltaics are enough ;)

For the Christmas vacation it’s 280 km for us, with the chance of waiting in the cold before the Furka car shuttle.
So far, no problem at all, 50 liters of diesel are also enough to get there, back, and around there without photovoltaics ;)

When the house is full and cooking, you can turn down the heating :^)

I'm curious what Habeck has planned in the [Osterpacket]. There are plenty of speculations.

Are two meters still worth it nowadays, or should everything run through just one?

With us, the heat electricity tariffs are currently at 32ct/kWh, whereas the regular electricity tariffs are at 45ct/kWh.

With our consumption, that's quickly over €1000 difference per year.

Do you even have a choice? In most networks, the provider now requires two meters, regardless of whether it makes sense for you. With a €1000 difference, I would definitely take two meters.

Those are very high prices, just signed the contract? Otherwise, I would try to switch.

Apart from that, it is also possible to feed in with 2 meters using a photovoltaic system. It's called cascade measurement or something like that.
