Since our house used to be a two-family house, it also has two meters. Therefore, I am somewhat familiar with the topic.
In short: With photovoltaic, only one meter!
Otherwise, it gets complicated with feed-in/Smart Meter. Also, as soon as the photovoltaic system is connected to a second meter, you might end up with electricity traders if one (tax office) wants to interpret the situation very disadvantageously for you. Then suddenly other requirements must be met, etc... From that point on, we decided to connect the photovoltaic system to one meter and to draw the electricity for the upper floor (2nd meter) from the grid and feed in the surplus.
Soon the 2nd meter will be removed, and with it the base fee will also be eliminated.
