Payment terms for prefab house

I have to say that this whole Deutsche Fertighaus Holding (which includes Okal Haus) seems very suspicious to me. I would reconsider it. Have you looked at Hanse, Fingerhaus, Weberhaus, or Schwörerhaus? We finally decided on Fingerhaus.

What is very suspekt about it? I can say what is suspekt. When you lose €70,000 to a house builder due to insolvency. Fingerhaus is a different league than Okal Haus and if you have to finance an additional €70,000 then the €40,000 that Fingerhaus costs more is simply not feasible

Regardless of personal opinions about the company, your question referred to the payment terms, and these are simply not in your favor.

How do you want to handle this now? Does your bank even agree to this? Mine wanted the payment plan and would never have approved such a plan.

I have long since secured the financing, as I have already started building, see the entry above yours. All in all, all the payment plans I have seen so far are neither better nor worse than this one.

Just watch a few documentaries about Massa Haus/Allkauf Haus, then you'll know what I mean. I also doubt that FingerHaus is 40k more expensive. If you compare the construction service descriptions carefully...

We can twist and turn this however we want. Okal Haus certainly won't be willing to negotiate. So you either take it as it is or forego Okal Haus. Have you ever inquired about Scanhaus Marlow? Build first, pay later, that's very fair. They are not overpriced either; the houses of theirs that I know, painted with Brillux on wooden facades, look good. I don't like their standard ETICS that much. Karsten
