I always thought these prefabricated houses cost about 3/4 of a solidly built house? At least this tends to be the case on the used market.
In terms of energy efficiency, wooden houses are really still top-notch, but personally, the sound insulation was not sufficient for me, and I also find the indoor climate in a brick house much more pleasant, even though the topic of "breathing" walls is always very lively discussed. I rely on my personal impression there.
Regarding the actual question: The really "cheap" ones are definitely Massa Haus, Allkauf Haus, Rensch-Haus, Town & Country,
