Basic classification of renowned prefabricated house construction companies?

I always thought these prefabricated houses cost about 3/4 of a solidly built house? At least this tends to be the case on the used market.

In terms of energy efficiency, wooden houses are really still top-notch, but personally, the sound insulation was not sufficient for me, and I also find the indoor climate in a brick house much more pleasant, even though the topic of "breathing" walls is always very lively discussed. I rely on my personal impression there.

Regarding the actual question: The really "cheap" ones are definitely Massa Haus, Allkauf Haus, Rensch-Haus, Town & Country,

On the used market, yes. There are prejudices and discounts for [Fertighäuser]. Town & Country builds extensively.

I am convinced that the expensive Mercedes, Daimlers and co also have a higher quality equipment and more explicit construction specifications than the low-cost construction.

However, construction defects can also happen with high-end home builders. For example, recently we had a family renting for half a year in a neighboring house that was up for sale, who had not been able to live in their exclusive new build in the neighboring village for a year because the woman developed asthma. Upon inspection, mold spores were found throughout the entire house. To find the source, all walls had to be opened. Everything took more than a year and cost a lot of nerves.
By the way, the actual source was only found after 10 months with an external specialist/expert.
Something like that can happen with Daimler too.

In the hallway on the upper floor. I didn’t remember more than that. Among neighbors you’re no longer the builder: you rather have sympathetic and chatty conversations, wish good luck, and offer encouragement.

So, whether they are top quality, I don't know exactly. But visually, I find Scanhaus Marlow Marlow with a solid wood facade and fjordborg nice. Both are prefabricated houses with, in my opinion, a good price-performance ratio.
