Payment terms for prefab house

I can already see that many people here have zero knowledge about the construction performance description or simply only read half of it. So once again, simply put, if you order fixed glazed windows at Okal Haus, meaning without sashes, then these are not triple glazed windows as normally described in the offer. This has to do with ventilation in the sense that more fixed glazed windows are ordered if ventilation is installed. And the fact that fixed glazing is not triple insulated is only hiddenly mentioned in the construction performance description, but whatever, just the fact that only a "high-quality" insulating material is used in the exterior wall and Okal Haus refused to provide information about it was a no-go.

So again, simply, if you order fixed glazed windows from Okal, that is without sashes, then these are not triple-glazed windows as usually described in the offer

What’s this fuss about? I already understood that. Where’s the problem? It’s stated in the construction specification, so what? Fixed glazing was already "in" with us in the 80s as a window front. When Okal says "high-quality insulation material," in reality, the cheapest technically required insulation material is installed, we know that. I didn’t build an Okal house, but most builders find that sufficient or they don’t care in detail about what’s inside the wall.

Correct, and most home builders orient themselves according to some "standards" like Kfw 40 because they don't understand much more about the subject anyway, and that doesn't need to be the case.

I don't care what others build, I just wanted to point out that things are less transparent at Okal Haus than with others. I only wanted to help. The expert must have had his reasons to advise me against it unless I get the information... But there was none from Okal Haus. And yes, for me it's a huge difference whether I have toxic styrofoam in the wall or wood fiber insulation.... To each their own, I don't want to live in a hazardous waste house.
