Uh, yes, I forgot to mention that just now. Those are naive ideas that get beaten out of you in the first semester of real motherhood. When you have children, the whole house is "infested" by this fact. Having children minimally invasively is not possible. Being a parent reaches into corners where even the cat doesn’t go. That is a paradigm shift made flesh.

P.S.: The dimensions are typically to be seen as finished dimensions in timber frame prefabrication.

Maria, I have moved away from wanting to correct other people's decisions. To be clear, it wouldn't be my house. But she wants the walk-in closet, the kitchen island, she wants the vacuum cleaner space, the privacy wall, etc. She is the one living there, not me. And the only really clear no-gos I see are the too narrow window in the bedroom, and unfortunately, the bathroom has hardly any space for a towel rack or something like that. Maybe a closet for winter jackets will fit in the open niche 2019? Maybe someday the drywall of the dressing room will be removed after all. But the narrow little window in the bedroom constantly creates a prison-like feeling. Without any reason. There would be space.

Nice that you’re back again :) The uploading somehow went wrong, no idea why there are 3 attachments. It should only be EG and OG.

The stepping down is not a bad idea, thanks! The TV in the wall mount will definitely look good there. What do you mean by beam on your knees? I somehow can’t follow you. The stove is planned next to the sink. There is nothing on the island. No idea why the architect drew that in. Also, the kitchen window idea is a good one, thanks :) There are no views yet, I have no idea at what "stage" they will follow. Probably at the building application, right?

There will be no plaster. We don’t like that look at all. We like perfectly smooth walls :D I had a storage room like that in my old apartment and I miss it badly. So it just had to come back :) The dressing room also will not be furnished like that, that idea came from the architect again. The closet will only go on the southern wall. You are probably right about the stroller, but my boyfriend is very picky about that. Something dirty (because it was outside) would never come into the house. Same with pets, but that is a completely different sad story. You’re absolutely right, it will be a huge fun when we have loud and dirty kids :D :D I’m curious if we will lose our faith then :D

April Fool's Day was already... we also know the origin with its mistakes. So we shouldn't be surprised.

It has only gotten worse in a terrible way; as an architect, I wouldn't have submitted something like this.
I doubt a house plan with an instruction manual.

The bedroom and bathroom are completely ill-conceived (then we'll just move the bed...) and square meters are wasted in the bathroom and kitchen.
In 10 years, when the idea comes up to change the house because it doesn't work with kids and all, it will be hard to sell.
Well, the main thing is the urinal, dressing room, and Kfw55...

I'm out - good luck :) [emoji256]

Best regards, Yvonne

Does the bathroom have no window at all, or did I overlook something in the instruction manual?

Regards, Yvonne

Thanks anyway for your feedback :)
Actually, there is a skylight over the bathtub in the bathroom.
