Unfortunately, it is not really comparable for me, as I do a lot of EL. But as said, a lot depends on the quality of the materials used. And the Q-levels say little about how even it really is in the end. They just define what all has to be done. But not how even and smooth the final result must be. There is painter's fleece with 40g/m², you might as well leave it out. A small reference: In my GÜ, painting with Q2 and textured wallpaper would have cost 9800 EUR, contract from two years ago. Since I, or rather my wife, categorically excluded textured wallpaper and the upgrade to Q4 with painter's fleece would have cost something like 24,000, I had it removed.

It wouldn't be complete without an invoice. I said that I want an invoice each time because of the warranty, then just with a reduced amount.

Honestly, has a valid point. I am also self-employed (in a completely different industry) and keep noticing how much (a lot!) in gastronomy and trades (and...) is done off the books. To then casually dismiss this here annoys me! (apart from the fact that as a client you can also be criminally liable for aiding tax evasion).

I am very glad to live in a country where there is parental allowance, KFW funding, free schools, subsidized school meals, an intact road system, social welfare, etc. All of this is not just money that falls out of our government’s treasure chest. It’s the money from you and Grandma Hilde and Bob the Builder. What a fuss there was about the discontinued KfW subsidies. Yes, man, WHERE DOES THE MONEY COME FROM? Sorry, but on this point I don’t understand how anyone can cheat society in good conscience for a few thousand euros. Surely some will now smirk and tomorrow greet the craftsmen who were 10k cheaper because they were paid in cash. That’s not fair. Amen.
