Own floor plan design city villa 180 sqm with double garage feedback

I think both of them work. I would agree with and also prefer option 2. The entrance to the bedroom is definitely nicer for me...

I can’t help with that here. Since the beginning of the thread, I perceive a clear maturation. I find both drafts acceptable and would lean towards "Draft 2".

I didn’t expect that and it actually makes me happy :) The second draft appeals to us more as well. The only point that bothers us a bit is the location of the bedroom. We would have liked to swap it with the dressing room and Child1’s room – away from the street side. But no matter how we mentally turn it, it doesn’t work without completely messing up the upper floor. A pity, but also not too big a flaw.

Where should I have seen them?

Honestly, I’ve never seen that at anyone’s place. A chute from the bathroom to the utility room? I’ll google right away to see what something like that could look like.

Laundry chute is worthwhile when overcoming two floors (upper floor/basement). I would save the costs on a staircase and rather invest in expanding functional cabinets in the utility room. Or in the garden. Or, or…

We are considering replacing the two wing doors on the south side with a 4m wide lift-and-slide door to avoid wasting as much/no window area behind the sofa as possible. From your point of view, is there anything against such a wide sliding door (difficult to open, etc.)?

The price.

I really wanted a lift-and-slide door to the main terrace. After sampling, I crossed it off first (about 10k extra compared to a wing door of the same size). This may be somewhat more moderate with other suppliers.
