Ok. Sounds reasonable too. I will consider this as an alternative.

Best regards

About 2000 EUR for a microwave in the oven, so you can warm up a glass of milk or an evening snack? You actually spend that, even though there is space for a separate device (which might cost 200 EUR)? Tsk, tsk, tsk... shaking my head...

I also think that's nonsense. We have a microwave, currently located in the utility room. It's used maybe twice a week, so you can go through the five steps for that. Therefore, I wouldn't worry at all about combination solutions or expensive built-in solutions. On the other hand, if you need the microwave often, you should buy it "standalone." Combination is always a compromise.

Combination appliances look better and are definitely not a compromise. I wouldn't know what a standalone microwave should do better. We even have two combination appliances in the new kitchen, oven with microwave and oven with steam cooker. Together they cost 3,000 euros from the 700 series by Siemens. You can't use the RRP. I believe the microwave combination only cost 850 euros. I have an Ikea kitchen, but the appliances were bought as individual parts. At Saturn in January, the VAT was "gifted," so I took advantage and got dishwasher, extractor hood, and cooktop, all from Miele, for under 3,000 euros.

At least and obviously:
It works independently, i.e., it can operate alongside the oven and also works if the oven is broken.
Individual units are usually cheaper.

Okay. I understand that. For me, a kitchen should have 2 ovens anyway. Anyone who cooks a lot will understand that, or of course it also depends on the menu. If it weren't like that for us, I would probably tend to go for single appliances as well.
