As a tip: I would definitely not use a pure steam oven. The big added value only comes from the combination of baking + steam, so definitely buy an oven with full steam!

By the way, we also decided on the combination microwave + oven and oven + steam. Maximum flexibility with optimal appearance. Of course, a pricey solution, so you have to decide for yourself whether it is worth it and whether you will use it.

Actually, once microwave+baking (large) and once steam (small) are enough for me. For example, vegetables cook simultaneously with the fish baking. I don't understand why two ovens are needed now. And do you then have two appliances with a large cooking space?

We have microwave + oven (compact) and steam + oven (large). Built one above the other. For me a very good solution. Two ovens are quite useful, for example for a roast and a gratin, or preheating dishes, or a baked dessert. I use the steam cooker alone relatively little. You also have to like steamed vegetables. In the microwave, nothing rotates, but the contents still heat evenly. I only use the combination of baking with microwave support for frozen pizza, and that happens very rarely.

To get back to the topic: Does anyone use the microwave in combination with, for example, bread baking? I have the impression that you mainly use either one or the other?

Microwave for baking bread? A steam oven would be much better suited for that.

Microwave assistance can rather be used, for example, with chicken wings or something like that. A microwave integrated into the oven often serves only to save space for another appliance.
