No, several secondary residences rather for other reasons. Because of the XY risk, instead of arranging the Gigantwillah main house and party house so that they are also perceived as somewhat less gigantic independent estates; and to ensure this is not inconsistent, no monstrous vehicle hall should be built where all the cars are parked at the residence. If a sunny day occurs in late autumn, the convertible is quickly fetched from the neighboring village. You also don’t need the hunting vehicle constantly at hand. Therefore, only the everyday cars and the Corniche or the Cayman for the chauffeur’s day off stand at the house.

When will you then build your main house anew? If the second/vacation residence is supposed to have 800 sqm +x, the year-round inhabited main house should be accordingly sized. Especially if it is already over 10 years old and worn down. A vacation home with 800 sqm implies a stately primary residence with at least 1,500 sqm of living space on a 5,000 sqm plot/park area. You don't want to downgrade yourself when returning to your cozy home after a weekend and then constantly have to be on top of each other. There should already be a certain generosity and glamorous elegance prevailing ;)

I could imagine that Immoscout ID 123172662 corresponds to your expectations. It's just that Ostniedersachsen is not necessarily within the search radius and the living area is somewhat smaller.

On the other hand, it has its own lake, guesthouse, and boathouse. It has been on the market for over a year now, and various agents have not managed to sell it yet (see comments from others about reselling such properties).

Therefore, something should definitely be feasible in terms of price.

With cars, the recreational vehicle is often more expensive than the everyday vehicle. Why shouldn't it be the same with houses? Isn't your vacation island also bigger than your garden? Maybe we are all thinking too small. At home only a helicopter landing pad and on the yacht immediately two...

I'm considering whether that wouldn't be more appropriate and practical, as a second home. The current garage is a bit low and too small. Here, you can even keep horses.

The purchase price is transferred quickly if you have the money. But no one will really be keen on having to attach an explanation according to the Money Laundering Act every time for the transfer of property tax depending on the amount ;-(
