Because you don’t leave strollers, Bobby cars, and tricycles outside in freezing temperatures. Garages have frost in winter, and from the drainage, the vehicles fit into the wardrobe or the entrance area.

[SCHUHE UND KLAMOTTEN: diejenigen des Alltagsgebrauchs in die Garderobe, der Rest in die Ankleide.] No, that just won't do. I’m not going to run to the dressing room every time to change shoes. Apart from the fact that for the ladies the color might not match the current outfit, you also have to have different ones ready for every type of weather.

so we also have our backpacks hanging in the wardrobe, for example (each one for shopping or work, we rarely shop by car) everyone has 2-3 jackets there for all weather conditions (we are cyclists after all). so that already means 4-5 hooks per person. then there’s my handbag and umbrellas, and there also has to be space for guests, then we have a chest of drawers for the most used shoes with 2 drawers for sunglasses, scarves, etc. for the most important seasonal shoes there is a shoe rack in front of the apartment door (our cats go after shoes that aren’t put away and there wouldn’t be more closet space for that in the apartment). and we don’t have any children yet, I can’t imagine how we’re supposed to fit all that stuff then. a lot of space for the wardrobe will definitely be planned in the house. I insist that street shoes are only worn in the apartment in exceptional cases (I’m not a cleaner after all), that also reduces worm and flea infestation because those are often brought in on the shoes

So you probably don't go to Aldi wearing Louboutins, right? - it's currently not sandal season, so they don't need to take up space in the wardrobe shoe rack. One yellow raincoat is enough, so you don't also need rubber boots with itsy bitsy cow spots.

I definitely will never, ever plan a general debris heap near the entrance just with the argument that you have more than one jacket. A little discipline is always possible.

You can also have everything near the entrance without it looking like a pile of rubble. The device for that is called a cabinet!
