Hello, first of all thank you very much for your critiques. So: Turning the door in the guest WC makes sense, depending on the furnishings of course. Regarding the dressing room: There will actually be a window. It is the upper middle window in the southeast view. However, it is not yet drawn in the floor plan of the upper floor. I just noticed that too. :-) A storage room in the upstairs hallway was also initially planned by us, but was discarded again. The doors of the children's rooms will be moved slightly towards the stairs so that I can possibly place a small couch or club chairs with a side table. On the opposite side of the hallway, a shoe cabinet is possibly to be placed later. We consciously decided against a storage room because until now we have only stored useless junk there. However, under the stairs on the ground floor there will be a storage possibility, you do need a bit of space for such small stuff after all. On the topic of living in the north: The architect was also critical of that, but in our case, the "life" actually takes place mostly in the kitchen. We love that. :-) There will be a large island with a counter and seating area. So that fits quite well for us. I also wanted the narrow windows like that, as I said it’s a matter of taste. I totally like them. In the kitchen there are also 2 floor-to-ceiling double doors. So it should be bright enough. At least, I hope so.
