Hello, first of all thank you very much for your critiques. So: Turning the door in the guest WC makes sense, depending on the furnishings of course. Regarding the dressing room: There will actually be a window. It is the upper middle window in the southeast view. However, it is not yet drawn in the floor plan of the upper floor. I just noticed that too. :-) A storage room in the upstairs hallway was also initially planned by us, but was discarded again. The doors of the children's rooms will be moved slightly towards the stairs so that I can possibly place a small couch or club chairs with a side table. On the opposite side of the hallway, a shoe cabinet is possibly to be placed later. We consciously decided against a storage room because until now we have only stored useless junk there. However, under the stairs on the ground floor there will be a storage possibility, you do need a bit of space for such small stuff after all. On the topic of living in the north: The architect was also critical of that, but in our case, the "life" actually takes place mostly in the kitchen. We love that. :-) There will be a large island with a counter and seating area. So that fits quite well for us. I also wanted the narrow windows like that, as I said it’s a matter of taste. I totally like them. In the kitchen there are also 2 floor-to-ceiling double doors. So it should be bright enough. At least, I hope so.

206 sqm ~ ? It's just big - but not bad.

Even if you "hoard" little, are you sure that 12m2 of utility room is enough? Technology in the attic? The room is already quite "filled" with supplies, drinks, refrigerator, washing machine, dryer, and small items, plus it is also a passageway. It would probably be too little for me. What will you do if a hobby of yours or the kids' is added? It will soon be tight with inline skates, roller skates, sleds, suitcases, etc. The list can be extended indefinitely. This is not a criticism. I'm just always amazed at how people can manage with that amount of space :D

You are absolutely right. However, the children's rooms will be vacant in the foreseeable future, as they are already adults. We can then use these rooms additionally. Therefore, no further pure storage room. We consciously refrain from this because at least one complete room will then be free. We do not want to keep the children's rooms forever. However, one will later be used as a guest room.

206 sqm for 2 people - not bad ;) Of course, I don't know, but wouldn't it possibly make more sense to consider a smaller barrier-free house?

Hello. We have also thought about that. However, then there isn't really much left of the plot, because we do want to have a certain amount of living space.
