Good day,
I don’t know what movie you’re on; but nobody here is accusing you of “building junk”! For your understanding: if that were the case, we mods would have long since intervened to correct it!
No one questions that either; what at least I doubt – rightfully, as has become clear in your last replies – is that you built insanely cheaply. That is not the case, as the supposed saving on the one hand results in leaving out features on the other hand. That is by no means bad or junk, but also nothing new. Everyday life – everyone as they like
You interpret assumptions – your own assumptions. Reduce it to what it is: you built a house in which you feel comfortable! Then psychological interpretation games don’t happen either.
If I reverse your approach of psychological understanding, I “could” just as well come to the opposite assumption. So let’s leave it at that.
Enjoy your house, internalize that it’s a bargain _for you_; but at the same time nothing new when builders forgo features or nice to haves.
Rhineland regards
Yes, I also don’t like that it is immediately assumed that you’re building junk just because you build cheaper.

We don’t build any frills and voluntarily forgo many things that are a must for others. For us, 111 sqm of work and keeping it clean is enough.

Psychologically you can fully understand that. You hear that someone built cheaper and maybe get annoyed and then comes directly the “then he just builds junk” so you don’t feel so bad yourself.

Whatever... unfortunately it’s like everywhere in Facebook groups or forums. There are always some poor doers because apparently they themselves are dissatisfied or annoyed about mistakes made.
