the prices are really good.
Rural here means in the far west of NRW 125-135€/m², fully developed. It gets really expensive towards Aachen or Mönchengladbach. We have decided to live in an even more rural area now and were totally surprised to find great infrastructure. Now everything is within walking distance or reachable by bike (about 700m).
This is not necessarily the case in the city where we currently live and is more geared towards car traffic.

What exactly is a former flood zone? And why is it no longer one?
