Here you can very nicely see the point of such price comparisons. We paid almost exactly €12,000 as an extra charge for sanitary and bathroom tiles during sampling. The standard was already advertised as high-quality and yet we still don’t feel like we are installing anything particularly special...

It also depends on how much you need of everything and where you buy it. Our general contractor would also have wanted about an extra €12,000 for sanitary items during sampling. We then had the standard deducted (about €2,000 refund) and for our desired equipment in the online shop we only paid about €7,000. So here alone we had a difference of €7,000!!!

Again on the general topic, I remember someone here recently asked if they could build for an amount X, which was probably in a similar range, if they choose a very simple equipment. If I’m not mistaken, the same people who are now saying here the house is not that cheap etc. said in that post that for the amount X mentioned there, you definitely couldn’t build, even though the house was supposed to be even smaller...

I assume you don't live at a highway rest stop and for example in Monaco your 180 km/h average isn’t even reached. As I said, no idea what car you have, but driving 6 km in 2 minutes from a standing start and braking to zero again is quite demanding, I’d say, even though I am certainly no Sunday driver.
