Our construction cost overview - It can also be "affordable"

In our experience, it would not have made much difference. A house simply costs money. And with the same provider and the same quality, 10-20 sqm more make "relatively" little difference.
If you compare apples and oranges, of course, that is something else.
And an "expansion house" is definitely not ours for this price. The problem here is also that every manufacturer has a different definition and various expansion stages. It is very difficult to differentiate - unfortunately.

I think it's great that you are realizing your dream at such prices. What did a train passenger say to me today (we are commuters) Time or money, it is difficult to balance both. We all live "rural", have more money, but have to commute.

That has to be decided individually. We have a company and have moved closer with the house construction. Now only 7 km. Car, public transport or bike... whatever we feel like. I also know some who want both: earn a lot in the city and live cheaply in the countryside. Then you can spend up to 2 hours commuting daily. Not for me. But everyone has to decide for themselves.

I also find such demeaning references with "rural" terrible.

We preferred to be in our homeland rather than buy overpriced in the commuter belt and just be a neighbor without any connection to the area.
