I believe they are all just boiling water. Few people will have experience with several manufacturers, because once you have settled on one manufacturer, you usually do not switch. I once settled on Unifi and have stuck with it. Therefore, I have no experience with other manufacturers, although they might also have good APs.

Regarding the roller shutter switches, I would consider when I want to use the roller shutters. We also thought about installing a central switch, but canceled it for cost reasons, and we are glad about that because we never lower all the roller shutters together. Others close the roller shutters when they leave the house and are happy to have it centrally.

So the manufacturer of the access point is initially secondary since they probably all work the same or similarly

Which video doorbell can you recommend to me?

I haven't found any that doesn't have negatives :/
[Doorbird] is said to have quality issues

The doorbell shouldn't actually be too expensive either :/

So claiming that all APs are similarly good is quite bold. No, that's not the case. Every manufacturer has their own approach there, sometimes better or worse per product. If an access point with POE, then I tend to prefer Unifi (they are relatively not very expensive but also not "cheap" for the performance, but require a software controller, at least once for setup) ... what does "not too expensive" mean? If you don't have 1500€ budget for a video doorbell -> forget it (only lay duplex LAN cables). Not only the components cost, but also the actual motor lock or electric opener costs money. Not everyone can do the installation, so that has to be factored in as well. I am quite satisfied with my Dahua, but I have better purchasing conditions than others ;)

we have a front door with a 3-fold automatic lock (mechanical locking) and A-opener

and will prepare the suitable cable 4x0.8 Jysty for the new ekey xLine or sLine (either individually or into the video doorbell) and place it in the distribution cabinet

currently the budget is quite tight, so we do not necessarily want to spend 1500€ on a video doorbell
have already considered installing a wireless video doorbell (many are also satisfied with these doorbells)

as an optimal preparation, would it be to install a CAT duplex cable and initially install the standard doorbell and replace it later?

We have now had the appointment with the electrician. He suggests that we do not install any Sat sockets and that he credits us for them. Since we use Magenta-TV, I also see no need. Do you have any opinions or reasons to still install Sat sockets?
