Since the kitchen cabinets are about as deep as the pantry, I assume the pantry is approximately 60-70 cm deep. I find that too shallow for a walk-in pantry, since you can either build in shelves or walk inside. I would prefer a 60 cm deep (built-in) cabinet that you can open its full width. I would rather place that behind the front door, move the guest toilet door a bit, and rearrange the toilet and sink.

Ask yourselves what is supposed to be stored in this pantry now.
When you build with a basement, you generally accept the staircase down to the beverage crates just as you do to the washing machine. That's the downside of having a basement. Yellow bags also find their place there if not in the garage.
Potatoes and preserves are also stored in the basement. What's left are a pound of flour or sugar, a few kilos of pasta supplies... that should fit in a kitchen cabinet... if that is missing, then the slanted wall in the kitchen solves that, since there is potential for a 60 cm, if not even 80 cm cabinet :)

Hmm ... I see another point:

The dining table is drawn quite far to the right side of the plan. That way, you can’t really use the sideboard planned there. But if the dining table is moved further to the left side of the plan, then you have a pretty tricky slalom path from the kitchen to the terrace (summer, grilling, etc.) and might not even be able to open the terrace door properly.

The sideboard should be removed from there and instead a window installed.

The idea of removing it from the kitchen is correct, possibly the right window should be moved a bit to the left.

You wrote that the draft comes from the planner of a provider. If I’m not mistaken, it comes from He**a and the sellers there plan for their customers.

What I want to say is – if you don’t happen to have a selling architect sitting opposite you, it will probably be quite difficult to come up with innovative ideas regarding house planning. Anyone can make things worse by trying to improve; including me

Have you ever thought about leaving the design planning to an architect and then looking for the right construction partner for you? It costs a bit more money in the long run, no question. BUT – in the end, you will be happier living in your new four walls ;)

Rhenish greetings

: Well reasoned, probably mainly recognized by the green ;)?

We probably went about it the wrong way and "lost" the last 1.2 weeks. The problem is that the reservation of the plot is about to expire soon and an extension of the reservation is not possible because several other interested parties are still on the list.
