3 m bedroom width - that alone is already a deal breaker Gasttür probably doesn’t work like that - hard to say without dimensions Unclear which part sits on which Floor and hallway floor plans Views, windows? Vestibule is totally overdimensioned Hallway dark as a bear’s backside Strange corners and edges in the upper floor Walk-in closet hardly usable... passage blocks one side for wardrobe, door another, window probably the third Northeast children’s room or how is the orientation? Air-to-air heat pump?! Unclear whether that makes sense. Please upload the current floor plan again at least with windows and also with furniture... then you will see that there are problems.

Enough space so that after the 20th rapid stair use of the day – going down, of course – you don’t have to brace yourself against the wall. Or the width of the widest piece of furniture plus 30cm! In my townhouse! I only had about 80 cm, as it felt!

Hey, what’s going on? You’re usually not that short?

Find that one should not build a house based on the plans - and that it cannot be evaluated. It is quite possible that the design really does not work that way.

Actually, the rooms on the ground floor as well as the upper floor are just lined up - the hallway is in the middle - on the ground floor there is also the vestibule added in front...
A shame.

Yes, you are right. Usually, at some point you get to know the reasons of the creator when you have made it your task in a forum to evaluate sketches and DIY designs. A vestibule or a door does not have to be explained... I at least try to consider the needs of a 5-person family as a 2-person household and not incorporate "my taste."
But a bathroom in the south, or misjudging by 10 sqm ... those are simply unconsidered planning errors, even if you argue with your childhood memories. You say it yourself:

Well, a bedroom of 300x500 cm should work. The bed will certainly be placed with the head against the 500 cm side.

However, I also always find it easier to assess a floor plan,

[*]if at least all windows and doors are marked where they are intended to be,

[*]if it is clear how wide and high the windows are and what sill height is intended
[*]if the intended furnishings are at least roughly but definitely to scale in the rooms.

Then you can better identify weak points.

Here are some views and floor plans with windows. I hope you can now better assess the whole thing.
