Hello Yvonne,

you have to explain this to me now. We also planned a socket under the light switch in every room and I find it super practical exactly for vacuuming. No more bending down to plug or unplug the cable...
Where do you have such sockets then?

I also find the single socket directly at the door very practical for the vacuum cleaner. Of course, the socket is placed "under" the light switch, i.e. separately at standard height, not in the same mounting frame as the switch. What does that look like? And don't you separate light and power? Otherwise, the OP should google "RAL-RG 678 HEA", then he’ll have it.

We also have double USB sockets in the bedrooms, living area, and kitchen. The prices additionally vary depending on the switch program.

We use a deeper outlet in the hallway on the ground floor, that way we reach all rooms on the ground floor,
as well as one under the light switch in the dressing room - it's centrally located in the middle of the floor, so we can also reach all rooms and corners. Our house footprint isn't small, but there are few walls that could get in the way.
Our cable is 6? meters long.
I don't like that the outlets are so exposed under the light switch: they are a hazard... I don't really know what could happen if I put my fingers in there, but I feel uneasy every time. Kids also turn on the light... ...
And for other devices or lamps, their position is no longer flexible that way.

Do you unplug the vacuum cleaner's plug in every room???? Hmm, do you also turn it off every time? You shouldn't constantly cut off the vacuum cleaner's power by unplugging it! That would be too inconvenient for me – I'm lazy after all.

We also considered whether we wanted to install USB sockets at the bed. But at the equity prices for that, we lost interest. However, if someone is interested in something like that and finds it important, I recommend taking a look at the Allocacoc, almost as good and cheaper to replace with standard switches and even available directly with a travel adapter.
