Pinky, you overlooked that the row at the bottom of the plan is additional to the 338cm, the space is sufficient in depth. Actually, the kitchen is too big, that is, too wide, you walk and walk and walk. The dining area, however, is only 306cm deep. Table 100cm deep, per chair 60x60, leaving just 40cm above and below the table to walk by. That does not quite match the oversized kitchen and living area.

We also have two living areas, but separated, one looks into one tube, the other into the other tube.

Whether the children's rooms are 14 or 20 sqm doesn't matter, they are now 14 years old, when the house is finished, they will move out soon. That's why the size of the house surprises me, it will soon be half unoccupied.

I still find Hampshire's living arrangement optimal, a wing for the youth.

From the outside, I wanted a visually more interesting house, looks like an office building.

Ironing is done in the HTR. Just like in our current house. For those who prefer it differently, after a sale in 15 years, the gallery would also be recommended, which could, if necessary, be separated as an independent room.

The garden furniture stays outside with us during winter as well (suitable outdoor furniture). At the moment, we have a terrace roof. A covered area is also planned for the new house, but it is not yet finalized.

Originally the wall from the kitchen to the dining area was missing, but since we want the option to completely separate the kitchen, this wall has been added. Otherwise, you are of course right, it’s too small compared to the kitchen, but regarding the 40cm passage width between the chairs and the walls, it’s only like that while everyone is sitting at the table, who should then still be walking around the table? Otherwise, the chairs are halfway under the table so that more space remains.
