The main bathroom is not "furnished," but the (in my opinion unusual) bathtub bathroom of the study is. The walls, which are again not dimensioned, are quite uncoordinated. The place will be quite dark.

Do you think the windows planned there already have the final dimensions? There is still room for more.

The kitchen is really quite small, in my opinion.
I think the staircase is also too tight (dimensions?)
The heating room is not suitable as a pantry.
The children's rooms are distributed quite unfairly.
The chimney is too far away from the fireplace.

Here's an alternative:

Good work Katja!!! ... I would leave out the door from the dressing room to the bathroom, or did I miss something?

Draft by TE slightly varied:

I left out the access to the technology through the kitchen and instead expanded the floor space.

Well, I don't know. You can definitely build it, but in my opinion it completely lacks flair. Quite a big house and yet little usable space in the bedroom, the living room somehow squat and dull. There is some zoning thanks to the fireplace, but at first it feels bleak. You would almost want to add a sunroom so you don’t die of boredom.

Hello Katja, thank you very much for your suggestions.

The kitchen is really very small, in my opinion.
Okay, I'll take that on board.

I think the staircase is also too tight (dimensions?)
The staircase measures 1.40 by 3.50, chosen as a standard size with various treads.

The boiler room is not suitable as a pantry.
For what reason? Rice, pasta, oil, etc. are currently stored in our living room, so what is the difference?

The children’s rooms are quite unfairly distributed.
True, I don’t like that either.

The chimney is too far away from the fireplace.
I have been told that the fireplace can be about 3m away from the chimney. The closer, the better – I understand that.

However, we want to install photovoltaics on the south side of the roof, and I think it makes sense if the chimney comes out on the north side of the roof to cause as little shadowing as possible.

Well, I don’t know. You can build it like that, but in my opinion it completely lacks flair. Quite a big house yet little space in the bedroom, the living room somehow squat and dull. There is a zoning effect because of the fireplace, but at first it seems bleak. You’d almost want to add a conservatory so you don’t die of boredom.

A conservatory is something that mainly causes additional costs. That’s why we didn’t include it. What would be your suggestion to enliven the living room?

I really like both of your proposals.
We are still considering whether to build in such a way that the upper floor can be rented out in old age and we as a retired couple would only live in the ground floor. In that case, variant 1 wouldn’t work, otherwise, of course, it’s a nice concept. Although walk-in closets fall into the category of "rather superfluous" for us. We have no problem changing clothes in the bedroom; I don’t have to go to a separate room for that (I know it’s quite fashionable at the moment).
