Now I can finally see the right plans too :) You have a very large hallway, but is the space really usable? I would try to fit a storage room on the ground floor, otherwise you will actually always have to go down to the basement. We currently have that too and it’s annoying, or the vacuum cleaner etc. are always out in the living area. Now I also understand the questions about the laundry chute. It should of course be accessible to everyone. Ideally in the bathroom or hallway. You also have a lot of space in the bedroom that isn’t really needed, right? Otherwise you can definitely do something with the floor plan. But tiles throughout the entire house? That wouldn’t be for me and I find tiles unsuitable for the bedroom and children’s rooms. What about in the transitional seasons or summer when the tiles are just cold (and hard anyway). It’s not really comfortable to live on and you get cold feet. : You say the househusband/housewife is happy? I can’t confirm that. Tiles have to be vacuumed and mopped so often. You see everything immediately! I swear by wooden floors/parquet. In my opinion, they are much easier to maintain (intensive care 1-2 times a year) otherwise just vacuum and occasionally mop. It’s like many things, a matter of taste, but tiles in the children’s room would be an absolute no-go for me.

I still think: the "tiling problem" is due to the user's laziness to edit the rooms separately in the program ;) So we shouldn't overrate it!

Thank you first of all for the answers, I will process them this evening. Topic tiles: ypg is completely right, we have not yet made a decision about the flooring... And about the washing machine: we have only designated spots where a washing machine could be placed.

Oh, so it should not be a laundry chute, but a possible washing machine space in the dressing room and a possible washing machine space in the ground floor bathroom?
