Thank you very much for your numerous responses. It will probably be the Neff.
Regarding the noise level and processing of the Skinande dishwasher.
I think the dB specifications from the manufacturers are only conditionally useful since you don't have laboratory conditions at home. And whether the manufacturers are comparable 1:1 there: no idea. In my old kitchen (Faktum) I had a Siemens dishwasher; it was specified at 42dB back then and was actually almost inaudible. In comparison: when the Skinande starts up, you can basically leave the kitchen because that thing is just loud. And purely based on the dB specs, 42 versus 45 is a difference, but as I described above, I would never have expected the result to be so different. Additionally, I find that this dishwasher is just poorly made. Compared to my old Siemens, everything inside rattles, which I also suspect is one of the reasons for the noise.
Fortunately, Ikea takes it back. I will report how it performs with the Neff.
