you should have said that. however, nothing will happen without legal counsel.

I would put your demands on the table. Whether you would then be more satisfied with e.g. €1567 compensation, I don’t know.

You are all worrying way too much. That may be written somewhere, but nothing will happen if a few beds and plants are planted now. Maybe you should do without a sequoia in the garden...

There is a duty to tolerate for connection users - so actually for everyone. This can be contested if the property is impaired by the lines. No one can tell you to what extent the legislator agrees here, but I think the chances are zero, unless you build a new house exactly there again.
However, you can apply for relocation at your own expense if you have the necessary pennies left.

From professional experience, I can tell you that it is not uncommon for trees to stand on supply lines. The lines are usually about 0.6-1m away from the property in the sidewalk, and if you drive through residential areas and look at how many houses have trees, shrubs, beds, etc. between their house/sidewalk/street, you also know how many of them stand over supply lines.

Properties in the second row are always great, too. Sometimes the development is done to the left of the front house and later the driveway is routed past the house on the right. On the left are all the beds, etc. In case of disturbance, the homeowners have never had to pay a penny here.

That is all fine as well. The supply lines for us and the houses in the second row also run along the edge of the property, which is not a big problem. It is about a main water pipe that supplies an entire settlement. In my opinion, it has no place on private land when 5 meters away there is a public road with a sidewalk.

In my opinion, that then has nothing to do with tolerance obligations anymore if it is not the (own) connection line or the line route is without alternative. The sidewalk 5 meters further is an alternative. But if grandpa approved that, even demonstrably, it will probably be difficult. Otherwise, I still believe that the line must be removed immediately. At no cost to you.

I want to benefit from cheap water supply, but not contribute to it with my property. The German "elbow society" continues to spread.
I throw Basic Law Art. 14 (2) as well as AVBWasserV §8 into the ring. They actually say everything.

See above.

Nonsense. The private property of the OP suffers significant damage, moreover without reason, if a pipeline routing is possible on public land. I don't know how generous you are... you might want to consider how the status quo may have come about.
