Sometimes things can be so simple.

But jokes aside - what I would be interested in besides the clearing obligation is how else the property must be maintained? For example, do you have to cut the grass, or are you allowed to just let the property "go wild"? (I am planning to build next spring anyway, but some of the neighboring plots have not yet been sold or are only reserved).

Well, we also didn't mow our property. At some point, the neighbor called, saying that my grass was growing into his roll-out lawn. He asked me to mow it.

We don’t have a sidewalk in front of the house, but still have to sweep a 1m wide strip. Funny enough, we still pay summer and winter services for street cleaning (highest rate in the city), but both tasks have to be performed by the owner :D.

Totally stupid, although it’s about a ridiculous 13 euros per year...
