Would you, if necessary, also place the utility room in an unfavorable location just to save a few euros on longer supply lines?
Or what reasons are there for that?
We will also place the utility room on the side of the house farthest from the street, but honestly, whether I install 25 or 35 meters of lines makes so little difference with today's construction prices that I don't plan based on that. Especially since some suppliers have flat rates up to a certain meter length anyway.

No. I don't necessarily find it inconvenient in this case. But I would look at the overall package.

Everyone can do as they should, can, and want here. But that doesn't mean I have to give unreasonable advice. It's easy to say "just a few euros" when it's not your own money?!

Hello,
We are revising the arrangement once again and will discuss it later with the architect as well. Thank you very much for the tips and advice.

As I wrote, I myself place the utility room in the most remote spot. Simply because it is most practical there. But you have to set priorities. And if you say that the top priority is to plan for the shortest possible supply lines, then I find that unreasonable.

Is that so? Your utility room is planned in the front corner by the garage, so you can always walk through, right?! According to your information, you are obliged to build exactly where the old house stands/stood. Towards the street, that was the most direct connection, wasn't it? https://www.hausbau-forum.de/threads/grundriss-bungalow-auf-schon-genutztem-Grundstück.37392/page-14

I have a quasi-corner plot, which is 16 m wide and a little over 70 m long. We drive in from the right long side; next to the plot there is a path, which is actually also a plot. The driveway is about in the middle of our plot. However, the utility lines come from the front, from the actual street where the narrow side of our plot is located. So the lines have to run parallel to the side path over our plot. I attached a photo from Google Maps. The utility room will be placed approximately where the blue box is.
And no, I’m not obliged; I want to build in the same spot.
