I don't find that beautiful at all! For me, it would be more like cinema lighting than lighting for living.

I would extend the hallway spots all the way to the end, and no further.

I don't understand these corner stories in this case. Spots in the stairwell and bathroom mirror are ill-considered.

Completely flooded. Dimmable is always good.

Hello everyone,
thanks for the hints!
Many thanks to AMNE3IA for the presentation. That helps us enormously!

Unfortunately, we are also not really satisfied with the wall lighting in the living/dining room... Do you have any other recommendations/ideas for this area?

Thanks for the tip about the software! I didn't know it, but I will take a closer look at it!

Best regards

I have just downloaded DIALux evo. Could you send me your planning once? Then I would try to refine it. Please send to: [E-Mail]MyUsername@web.de[/E-Mail] Thank you very much! We really did not expect so much help!

Is the floor plan already fixed?
Are those the final furniture positions?
Maybe one should start there first.

Yes, the floor plan is finalized. The furniture positions are almost final. We like it very much this way, so I wouldn’t want to change it anymore. The position of the sofa is still unclear, whether completely against the wall or not.

I have sent you the file.
For planning, I would simulate more precisely though.
Windows, furniture, etc.

I might plan a nice pendant light above the coffee table as general lighting.
Behind the sofa at the top left of the plan either 1-2 pendant lights in the corner or a floor lamp.

The spotlights directed at the wall are only decorative lights to, for example, emphasize a picture.
Or if there will be a nice plant somewhere, the plant could be illuminated with a spotlight.
There are nice contours.

Above the dining table, plan either 1 light or 3. So rather an odd number.
On the right side of the plan on the wall next to the table, it could be used as decorative lighting.

I find the pendant lights above the peninsula very chic; we will implement them the same way.
