If Wi-Fi is enough for you, then so be it. It's more like a house that's about 10-15 years behind the times.
However, one must be aware that Wi-Fi was developed for mobile devices and generally is not focused on maximum performance (speed). From my perspective, with Wi-Fi you will have problems distributing the increasing internet speed throughout the house in the future. If you look at computer forums nowadays, the question "why can't I use my internet speed via Wi-Fi?" comes up almost daily. Very often, people then retroactively install LAN cables throughout the house on the surface because they are fed up with their problems. That's my current experience. In my opinion, cables will still accompany us for the next 20-30 years, and if they lie in empty conduits, replacement is also possible.
