They are supposed to be in front of the house in any case, so in this case in front of the "earth pedestal" with the house on top.

I tried to incorporate the slope into my graphics of the house placements regarding the light, see post #18. According to the contour lines of the cadastral office, it amounts to about 7 meters over the full plot length from northeast to southwest. Currently, there is 5 meters of space in front of the house; the existing house is 8 meters deep. So the plateau would have to start where the house currently begins to make the parking space in front of the house deep enough. Compared to my first sketch, that is where the house begins. (In the plateau drawing, I had omitted the street and front parking space.) The posted photos might also provide insights into the current state of the terrain.

Thanks. It doesn’t always have to be a computer graphic; it would have taken too long.

Hm... I don’t quite understand that. It is actually optimal if it is the entire basement story, so that the terrace can then be flush with the ground floor, isn’t it?

They are not good either: because they look much more perfect compared to most own drawing skills, they are quickly mistaken by spatially weak amateur planners for successful designs, even where they are not. Now I don't understand it: shouldn't the push-up floor slab be taken precisely instead of a plinth basement?

Yes exactly, that was the idea thrown out by the prefab house salesperson. In my drawing, there is no basement shown with the "push-up floor slab." However, if you only raised it half a story, you would have to move a lot of earth on the slope in order to build the terrace directly onto the ground floor. That is, however, a must-have for us.

How can I cause so much confusion with just a few words. oops: Thank you for still trying to understand me.

You know my theorem "a height difference of a whole basement always costs as much as a whole basement, whether clockwise or counterclockwise"?

Yes, I would also take 11ants' theorem to heart. If you have to pile up a whole floor somewhere, you might as well build a basement. The cost/benefit of "just piling up" is worse than building a basement right away.

No, I hadn’t read that from you in another thread before.

It feels like this suggestion only has disadvantages and it doesn’t fit with what we have in mind, so it’s out of consideration.
