No, totally wrong. The room faces southeast. It shouldn't be too dark because of that. The roof terrace is a by-product of the extension we needed for the single-story. Before putting an ugly flat roof in its place that doesn't match the house at all, we put this on top.

From the lighting planning perspective, the living room caught my eye; nothing has been said about it yet:

What are the two lamp outlets for? Will the room be furnished exactly like that? Then I find both outlets somehow oddly placed... I would maybe hang two wall lights instead of the second wall outlet in the living room, for example on the bottom and left walls on the plan, which can then be turned on and off as mood lighting with a regular light switch.

No, the furniture will be arranged differently. Except for the kitchen and the marital bed, that’s not correct. The outlet fits well for the sofas. The other one is difficult. I don’t see either as lighting for everyday use, but rather for when it needs to be bright, for vacuuming, etc. One outlet probably won’t be enough for that. For everyday use, I had wall lights in mind, as you suggested. The ceiling outlets below now have to be fixed, since the ceilings will be ordered after the sampling. I don’t want to block the possibility of having enough light.

For example, mentally make a rectangle on the plan for the living room and kitchen and then take the center line. This results in a different position for both outlets in the living room, which is nicer. Really consider where the table will stand in the dining area. I would also give the kitchen a centrally located outlet. You don’t need the spots there; they are built into the exhaust hood and should be sufficient. Take the hallway lengthwise in the middle or rather two? I would say the WC: that way you shower in the dark. Place the outlet there at the height of the partition wall in the middle and then a wall outlet above the sink. Upstairs: You need to make arrangements for the hallway because of the attic stairs. In the bathroom, set at least 9 and then dimmable for bathing. That’s how I would do it.

Well, if the furniture doesn't fit, in my opinion you can't really say anything about the light. Okay, I don't have to give my two cents - but the furniture of child 2 would still interest me. My imagination just isn't enough to accommodate both a bed and more than 60 cm of wardrobe well at the same time...

Thanks for the input. I will make some corrections. That’s the kind of tips I was thinking of. In the kitchen, there is no overhead exhaust hood, but a Berbel Moveline table hood, so we need different lighting since otherwise the whole island is not illuminated. In the WC, we probably want to use glass for the wall to the shower, so only central lighting, thought that would be enough.
