That's what we did after some frustrating visits to kitchen studios. Top carpenter, top quality, we are still very, very satisfied with the decision. With so much arrogance, the kitchen studios can figure out where to stick it, just ignore them. For nearly 50,000 EUR, you can expect not to be sold a surprise egg and that your own wishes are really taken into account. And before I sign such a contract, I need to know what I’m getting for my money. If they find enough fools to buy a pig in a poke, congratulations.

You can read it beforehand, the contract.. everything is in there. From A to Z and every E number

50K sounds like a lot to me. Of course, it depends on the size, etc. But I do wonder if the carpenter isn’t a bit more expensive in the end with comparable equipment?

What was so frustrating for you? Also missing information about appliances?

Sure it's in the contract, but do you also get the contract sent home to be able to read everything calmly and double-check, or is it again "You have to sign now and here to get the price."

So should I make two appointments? Once to read it calmly, with a watcher next to me, then sleep on it overnight and then again for the signature? If you've basically already agreed? I somehow don't believe in that.

Oh sorry,... I forgot that everyone in the construction industry including kitchen sellers are born extortionists and anyway "criminals." All pigs, those :p
Who is to blame? Always the industry. Or the others ;)
To me, this is often a bit too theatrical here.
