& ypg: Thanks

What someone has already mentioned and what I also find very pleasant is that while cooking you are fully integrated into the action in the dining room. You have to like it, I think it's great. By the way, you can never have enough space, my mother-in-law completely stocked us up with Tupperware last week when we moved in. The space disappears in no time. But it's still okay for now
Edit: I just noticed we have already talked about the space and the Tupperware before.

I have already posted a picture in some thread... here is a new one:

View angle from the stair landing/living area, on the right you can see the dining table, on the left the hallway begins.
The raised table next to the island provides support for the hardcore guests at parties - it is actually planned for a small meal for two, but unfortunately the bar stools are still missing

In the work area there are a total of 8 drawers for Tupperware (90cm), work equipment (2 x 60cm), spices (90cm) and cutlery.
In the top view there are 30cm cabinets for vases, dishes and other stuff

Regards Yvonne

curious question - but the staircase was not approved like that, or specified "without" railing in the building application ...?

Rhenish greetings

...I had the same thought about the stairs. Maybe the railing will officially come later.

Looks really good

Since not all lamps are hung yet, I suspect that there will be a railing or a glass wall added there.

I bet that no more terrain is supposed to be put there. I remember the elaborately painted concrete wall in which the anchors for the stair steps were... But I can imagine that someday a terrain will be needed (child or own ailment) So long
